Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dspatch Inc. ("Dspatch", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our field-service management platform and related websites and applications (the "Service").

1. Who this policy covers

Dspatch is a business-to-business platform used by service companies ("Customers") to manage crews, jobs, quotes, invoices, and payments. This policy covers information about (a) a Customer's account administrators and crew members, and (b) end-customers and properties that a Customer adds to the platform. Where a Customer uploads information about their own clients, the Customer controls that data and Dspatch processes it on their behalf.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

4. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required (for example, certain location features).

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, including Stripe (payment processing), our email delivery provider, and cloud hosting and infrastructure vendors. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect data. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

6. Data security

We protect data in transit using TLS encryption. Particularly sensitive fields collected during crew onboarding (such as government ID and bank account numbers) are encrypted at rest using industry-standard Fernet encryption, access is restricted to authorized administrators, and access events are logged with timestamp and IP address. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as an account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Customers may request deletion of their data as described below; some records may be retained where required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We honor rights provided under the GDPR and the Australian Privacy Act. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@dspatch.io. If you are an end-customer of one of our Customers, please direct your request to that company; we will assist them as their processor.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and limited functional cookies (for example, to remember your timezone). We do not use advertising cookies.

10. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data.

11. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
